1. Spectacles
“I don’t need this.” Puffing with thick arrogance, he took off his new spectacles. Sadly, his red eyes began to squint; vision began blurring once or twice. Although the petite girl was standing right in front of him, Silver cursed mentally that her image began to phase out without his will.
“Are you sure you’re okay?” Kotone asked, head tilting to the left. Hands cupping behind her back, she stared as the boy squinted his eyes in frustration. “I think you need those glasses to see. Your eyes are getting red.”
“My eyes are always red.” Silver huffed sourly, right hand still clenching the specs. Although a part of him yelled that Kotone was right, the other part denied blindly, instead convincing him that his sight was sharp as a Braviary. “Now if you excuse me, I have to see the world with my perfectly clear red eyes.” With that being said, Silver turned his heel and quickly walked away.
Thanks to his perfectly clear red eyes, he bumped to a tree.
1. Conflicting
Green watched as Leaf jumped and played with her Pokémon. The girl twirled and spun around, mouth bursting a laugh or two at the company of her beloved team. The young man, on the other hand, merely sat on a bench, watching at the girl he called ‘rival’. His lips smirked to see her, radiant and filled with smiles. It was a rare sight for Green, considering the girl was always stoic around him or anyone else.
Suddenly, the wind blew a harsh breeze, sending anything flying about – and Leaf’s short skirt wasn’t an exception.
Kotone ran from room to room, aiding to the people’s help. To her relief, most were able to escape. But it wasn’t all good when she found two rooms that were covered in fresh blood and headless. Finally, she reached the last room. Kotone ran to the balcony. She frowned to see the ground was still too low for her to jump. “Damn it! We’re still four levels high!”
Suddenly, a loud shriek panged her eardrums. Kotone looked forward. Her hazel eyes were wide in horror to see a winged beast – flying straight for her! “Eeek!” She wrapped her arms around her head, bracing for impact.
But another scream approached her: A man’s voice. Silver. Kotone lowered her arms. Her shock was endless as she saw the man was jumping off the balcony – and onto the demon!
The song began to play faster. Louder. The members moved their hands and arms; head on the ground. The chaotic tune made Meloetta stop and turned around, somewhat confused at the strange behaviour.
SCREEEEEEEEEECCCHHHHH!!!
The sound shrieked again. Everyone gasped and screamed in aghast. The Pokémon all huddled to the balcony. All eyes and head were frantically twisting and turning to look for that sound.
And then, in a blink of an eye, a terror-stricken scream filled the stage.
All eyes were on the wall.
A statue of an angel – so beautiful and innocent – cracked into two.
And there it was – revealing a demon: Head of a skull. Horns of a bull. Two red eyes bulging out of its sockets. Upper jaws that touches its chin. Its skeletal arms longer than its own height. Black shadow wings raised up in the air as it roared violently into the night.
A second silent of horror swept inside them.
Silver wanted to bang his head on the wall. No wait. He wanted to bang somebody’s head on the wall. Yeah that sounded much better. A heavy sigh escaped his lips. Stupid woman. He pulled the necktie that was choking his neck. His mind boggled on how the hell he got into this mess.
November 13th, 1881.
Friday.
The opera house was filled with guest; all lavish and exquisite. The Grand Ecruteak City Opera House was nothing but majestic beauty. People come from all across the world to listen to the music held in the building. All the famous writers and musicians only played there. Beethoven. Mozart. Bach. Edvard Grieg. All carved their names with their elegant harmony.
Until one night; a dark, moonless night, changed their history forever.
Meloetta: A beautiful Pokémon. A Pokémon where her melodies can control the people’s emotions who hears it. A Pokémon where it brings such sooth and calmness to a person’s soul. Her voice drowns out people’s sorrow, making them lull in utter bliss.
Her voice brings such elegance, that it attracted one’s heart.
1. Green as Iron Man
“Green, we have an emergency in Precinct 8. We need you on the premises stat!” Oak Fury spoke through the giant screen. His eyes widened to see the suave brunette standing idly and releasing a heavy groan. “What is the matter with you?”
Hand twisting the comb, Green lazily responded, “I was busy combing my hair while looking at the giant monitor. It has better reflection than my mirror/wall down the hall. You know mirrors right? The one that you use to see yourself?” He looked at the gawking S.H.I.E.L.D. leader. With a small smirk flashing on Green’s lips, he slyly added, “But then again, judging by your not-so handsome face, I’m guessing you don’t even know own a mirror.”
The one-eyed man gawked in utter disbelief. Green showed no guilt and just flashed a sneaky smirk. Oak Fury’s body trembled angrily, but he inhaled and exhaled a few times, trying to calm himself down from the young man’s snarky personality. “Just get your pretty boy ass here!” Before Green could reply, Oak Fury disconnected their call.
Knowing that he had taunted the man – once again – Green breathed an arrogant chuckle. Hands proudly fixing his hair and eyes never averting away from the giant screen, Green shouted, “Miss Leaf Potts! Be my sweet little assistant and get my super suit! Oh and bring some doughnuts too! I’m gonna be hungry on the way!”
1. Conflicting
“Give me back my Pokémon, you meanie!” Leaf shouted angrily, arms rose in the air and feet hopping little hops. Unfortunately, Green was proven taller than her as he stretched his arm upwards, fingers tightly clutching her Pokéball.
“Once a shorty, always a shorty, huh?” Green ignorantly spat, lips posing a naughty smirk. The young woman in front of him only cast a sharp glare. Her cheeks were puffed. Her lips were pouted and frowned.
And honestly, that only made Green even happier.
“Shorty!” The young leader happily laughed. Before Leaf could even punch his chest – even though it would just be tickles for him – Green wrapped his free arm around her waist and pulled her closer. “You’re cute when being bullied by me.” Grinning like a fool, Green softly pecked her nose, thus stunning Leaf shut.
Leaf, now engulfed with bashfulness instead of anger, could only freeze with cheeks as hot as the sun. “W-why you… Meanie!”
1. Rain
“Aww, it’s raining!” Kotone sulked out loud as she gazed out the window. Although it was still 12 in the afternoon, the sky had already taken its dark and grim tone. A pout forming her pink lips, the brunette landed her bum on the sofa and crossed her arms like a child.
Suddenly, she felt a pair of strong arms lifting her petite body. In less than a second, Kotone was placed on something – someone – rather than the comfort of her own couch.
1. Nameless
“Hey Green.”
“Yeah-” Green froze as Red stood very closely to him. Their bodies were only inches apart, Red’s hands touching the young leader’s waist. “R-Red what are you-“
“Shh,” Red shushed him, voice husky like snow. The boy inched his face closer, causing Green to stay in utter bafflement. “Green…” He murmured, breath slowly slapping the tip of his nose. His hands roamed to the waistline of Green’s pants. The brunette merely stood in silence, heartbeat pounding his ribcage at the sexual moment. He saw as Red moved closer. He smelt his scent wafting into his nostrils. Green too shut his eyes, lips slightly parting as reflex.
Suddenly, he felt a cold rush of wind on his – bare – legs.
Green looked down, only to see his pants being pulled down to the ground, revealing his bright yellow boxers.
The next thing he heard was hearty laugh.
It took less than a minute for Green to realize that he had been tricked. “RED YOU BASTARD!!”
Silver wasn’t much to be the jealous type, especially in relationships.
Now that he thought about it, he doesn’t have a girlfriend as a reason to be jealous for in the first place.
Kotone wasn’t a proper reason.
Or at least, that’s what he thought…
It was a sunny morning. The sun beamed blissfully above the heads of many. People and Pokémon walked and laughed as they basked in their daily lives. Only one, however, stood in silence; mouth forming a straight scowling line. Her hair was pulled into two little pigtails. Her attire was nothing of the usual since ever she started her adventure. Only her hat was absent, instead gripped in her grasp and flapped slowly as a fan to her face. The girl scoffed louder, not hesitating to flash her impatience and annoyance. Typhlosion stood beside the grumbling girl, his red eyes carefully focusing on the human.
She glanced at her Pokégear for the hundredth time. It’s been an hour! Her mind screamed as her hazel eyes focused on the time. She knew he would be hesitant to see her today. But that doesn’t mean he should rudely go to this extent.
Especially not on her birthday.
The scorching rays of the sun hit the girl’s head, infuriating her even more. “That’s it!” Kotone finally shouted in irk. He wouldn’t come. She should just forget it.
Only problem: she couldn’t just forget it.
With tears forming in her eyes and teeth slowly grinding in her mouth, Kotone stomped her left foot and began to walk away.
That is, until she heard someone asked, “Where the hell are you going?”
The music echoed a soft tune. The room was dark, only lit with candles on the table and far corners of the floor. The violin chimed melodiously, entrancing the couple that was dancing together.
Her arms were snaked around his neck. His arms were wrapped around her waist. The two merely looked at each other, both not uttering a single word. Their gazes showed all. Their gazes revealed all. Never had they broke their sight between one another. Their feet scooted to the left, then to the right. Her dress swayed majestically, sweeping the carpeted floor. The soles of his black shoes slid as they moved. The beat didn’t flinch, and neither did they.
Finally, a smile appeared on his face. “Little brat…” he muttered softly, voice tinged with such a hint of lust. Oh how she smelt luscious tonight. Oh how she looked breath-taking tonight. Oh how she looked ever so innocent, yet still exposing the devilish side of her.
Oh how she looked tempting, enough to break the sanity in him.
“I’M GOING TO DO IT!”
The sound of the manic scream made Kotone jumped off the couch. Her bum roughly kissed the hard floor, making her cringe in pain. “Oww!” she yelped sharply, right hand slowly rubbing her numbing butt. Quickly her eyes glared to a certain redhead, whose arms were crossed and face was wearing one of burning determination.
However, Kotone wasn’t the least bit amused. “Silver, what the hay-hay!”
Let the laughter ring its soothing joy. Let the music echo in the halls of mirth. Let it rhyme! Let it flow! Let it boom across the halls, pounding the sturdy memories that can never be shattered. May it fist to its heart content. May it tell the story of the broken. May its voice reach the others, wailing and screaming until Lucifer breaks loose.
